A little note from the family behind Wonkido.
In 2010, we created the Wonkidos with one simple hope: to help children learn everyday social skills the way they learn best — by watching, playing, and doing. Getting dressed, going potty, making friends, staying safe, speaking up at a restaurant — the Wonkidos turn the little moments of childhood into clear, gentle steps a child can see and copy. I do, we do, you do — Wonkido!
Over the years, so many of you — parents, teachers, and therapists — have written to ask us for more: more episodes, more skills, more Wonkidos. Nothing would make us happier than a full studio bringing every new idea to life. But as a small, family-run team, that kind of professional production has always been just out of our reach.
That's finally changing. New AI tools now let us create brand-new Wonkido scenes and stories — using our original characters and our original scripts — at a fraction of what it once took. It means we can finally say yes to the videos you've been asking for, and keep the Wonkidos learning and growing right alongside your kids.
A little honesty: this new technology isn't perfect, and you may notice a small inconsistency here and there as we find our footing. We hope you'll see those little quirks for what they are — a small, passionate team pouring everything we have into keeping the Wonkidos alive for a whole new generation of kids.
We're so excited for what's ahead — new episodes, new friends, and fun new ways for kids to learn and play with the Wonkidos. Thank you for being part of the Wonkido family all these years.
